Audio Visual Media Art
English Riviera Productions collaborates with artists working in the audio and visual arts. The idea of forming a music production company came about when Alin Karna (singer songwriter), with his two colleagues, Ryan Salt and David McCallum, were studying Music Technology at Plymouth University. Their ambition was to create a state of the art recording studio where their combined talents and experience could be fully realised. Kathy Mason, a fashion and digital media designer, added her considerable experience and visual skills to the project in 2007.
ExtraterrestrialUK , was a digital-music EP by Alin Karna, released in 2009 and was the first of a number of creative and exciting projects planned, combining music, art, sound and animation, to produce a wide range of products and services.
Prior to the debut album Providence, the video “Sick of These Wolves” was release on 2011 when the Occupy demonstrations worldwide were at the highest persistence. The lyrics were inspired by the unrest and dissatisfaction of the people protesting against unethical profiteering of the 99.9%.
Alin Karna’s debut album, Providence, 2012, was released as digital downloads and CD.
